The Opportunity
Masse is a fast-growing SEO agency, offering our highly-effective “Content at Scale” SEO campaigns to ambitious tech companies focused on the extreme cutting-edge of tech like AI and Robotics.
We’ve refined SEO to an art, with a repeatable playbook for growth and ROI. We’re also an early mover in AEO, with multiple, successful case studies under our belt and a proprietary framework for execution.
With our unique approach to growth, we’re growing exceptionally fast month-over-month – and now we’re looking for an experienced Strategist to join our team and increase our capacity to deliver tailored, tightly-managed strategies for our clients.
You’ll lead a group of clients, devise their SEO & AEO strategies and drive bottom-line performance for their business.
You’ll collaborate with our content, link-building, and technical teams to bring your strategies to life, supported by an Strategist & Editor, and ensure results are delivered on time and in line with our best practices and overarching strategic philosophies.
We work hard to make sure clients feel like we’re a part of their team. You’ll extend our ability to do this by educating our clients on your approach, advising our clients on how SEO intersects with their other marketing efforts and getting to know our clients’ businesses inside-out.

The Details
Compensation: $60,000-$72,000 per annum
Location: Fully Remote, 4 hours overlap with US ET hours
Employment: Contract (Initial 12 months, with view to extend or make permanent)

What we are looking for:
- You’re experienced in building SEO strategies - especially for startups and technology companies.
- You’re highly skilled in keyword research - you understand how product-led, B2B strategies require balancing intent, competition, positioning, and topical authority, not just chasing search volume.
- You’re Revenue-Focused - You know that ROI is the most important KPI for our clients and you know how to turn visitors into customers at scale.
- You’re already diving into AEO - You’re up-to-date on the latest zeitgeist of AI search and have active experience with this emerging channel.
- You deliver insights, not just metrics - you don’t just report what’s happening, you dig into why it’s happening and what to do next.
- You know your way around analytics, be it GA4, GSC or more niche platforms like Posthog. You know how to set up proper attribution for your work and create reports that show the impact.
- You’re no stranger to client communication - Whether it’s CEO or a marketing team, you’re comfortable communicating on calls and showcasing your work in strategy decks.
- You have a bias for action — Masse is growing quickly, and we’re looking for teammates who anticipate what clients need before they ask, stay ahead of the work, and execute proactively rather than reactively.
What you'll do:
- Build high-performing strategies for your group of clients, combining SEO & AEO to drive traffic, conversion and revenue.
- Create content roadmaps through product-focused keyword research and competitive analysis, identifying opportunities where we can win against direct and indirect competitors
- Drive the strategic delivery across Masse for your clients, bringing our team onboard with your roadmap, ensuring that deliverables match your strategic vision and setting the performance bar for deliverables.
- Analyze search intent across the funnel and map keywords to the right pages (product, feature, comparison, use-case, and supporting content)
- Conduct competitive audits to understand what’s ranking, why it’s ranking, and how to outperform it (content depth, structure, links, and UX)
- Showcase your work, using dashboards, ad-hoc reports & attribution to demonstrate the client impact your strategies are delivering.
- Own and drive bespoke SEO projects for clients, like programmatic SEO campaigns, tool pages and landing page creations.
- Collaborate across internal teams to turn research into clear, actionable briefs
- Audit and improve existing content to increase rankings, conversions, and internal link equity
- Work with technical SEO basics (indexation, internal linking, on-page optimization) to ensure content can actually rank
- Monitor performance in Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools (ahrefs, SEOGets, Peec.ai), then turn data into next-step recommendations
- Communicate findings and strategy clearly to internal teams and clients — no jargon, no vanity metrics
- Develop & Experiment with Masse’s core frameworks, finding new ways to deliver value for our clients, evolving our understanding and execution of AEO and bringing continuous improvement to our client deliverables and processes.
