Who are CyberLeads?
CyberLeads is a lead generation website and productized agency. The site launched in 2020 and differentiated it’s self by catering to a very specific niche - companies who wanted to reach recently-funded startups. Each month, CyberLeads provided its’ customers with freshly funded prospects, complete with a myriad of useful information like contact details and outsourcing needs
The founder of CyberLeads took this offering one step further by launching a fully-serviced offering whereby CyberLeads would perform cold email outreach to their lists on behalf of clients and book sales calls directly.
The Problem
As a small company, CyberLeads started out by relying on the founder’s personal brand and word of mouth to find those its first customers. While this got sales off to a great start, these channels quickly become unreliable and without recurring, inbound interest, CyberLeads wouldn’t appeal to would-be buyers in the future
The founder needed a way to scale out a new distribution channel, but as a one-man company (and keen to keep it that way), writing article upon article and hoping Google would rank them favorably was not a practical or viable solution. The Approach
- Inspired by Programmatic SEO giant MuckRack’s journalist profiles, Masse realized that a directory of companies and their contact details could bring huge numbers of high-intent traffic to CyberLeads
- CyberLeads posed a unique challenge in being totally new to SEO - They had no previous rankings to go off of and started out with a very low Domain-Ranking. Masse built out several high-quality backlinks for the campaign, letting Google know these pages were worth paying attention to.
- Masse took further advantage of Google’s best practices, introducing structured schema markup and split-testing multiple keywords in the title and on the page to get CyberLead’s 1,000+ pages moving up the rankings at scale
The Result
CyberLeads grew from 0 to 15,000/mo organic visitors in 8 months, with 1,000+ programmatic content pages produced. With so many fresh visitors reaching the site each month, SEO has become one of CyberLeads’ acquisition channels, a driver for revenue and has put the Founder’s mind to rest by bringing reliability to their acquisition process.
